Providing support via our Advanced Pattern Recognition (APR) systems, we were able to identify a high percentage of downtime losses from the hydraulic system on a UK offshore windfarm.

Having detected hydraulic pitch system pressure anomalies during off-line periods, we worked closely with the sites maintenance team who confirmed leakage of individual pitch ram seals.

The identification process has subsequently been tuned through cross analysis of the client's feedback and findings on each case.

The client now benefits from a prescribed and reliable method of managing a previously unknown hydraulic system fault, which directly impacts the single largest source of loss at the site.
